Doug Sparks, in 1987, after 8 years as a Wall Street Entrepreneur/Investment Banker, Doug started a physical therapy company, took it public as the chairman, had it acquired and then started over privately. He grew his new company to $8 million within 6 years before selling out in 2001. He has owned, managed, bought and sold many clinics in his 23 years on the business side of therapy. Doug also runs Internet consulting practice, Advanced Physical Therapy Concepts / APTC at www.aptc.biz. He and Sam conceived the structure for MD/PT Partners - National in the Fall of 2003 and received their first legal opinions in February of 2004, thus launching the company. They perfected the model for the first two years before it even occurred to them to use it to help others. Their feeling was that it was simple enough to teach and help operate remotely. That has proven true.

Sam Fontenot PT, Sam Fontenot PT has practiced Physical Therapy for the last 39 years. During that time he has owned and managed acute care hospital contracts, rehab hospital contracts, private out patient clinics, Rehab agencies, Home Health agencies, and nursing home contracts. He has managed out patient clinics for a national rehab company. He has held State and National offices in the Texas Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. He has also been a member of the Private Practice Section of the APTA. He is married and has three children and four grandchildren. His career has been in the Houston Texas area.
